With 1.4 million US employees, Walmart is the single largest private employer of Black workers in the country. The company's artificially low wages, unfair scheduling, wage theft and aggressive worker retaliation make Walmart a critical battleground in the fight for improved economic outcomes for Black families and communities nationwide.
