The Waltons have more wealth than the net worth of 4 out of 5 Black people combined. This huge gap is even more startling when you consider that Walmart is the largest employer of Black workers in the U.S. Recently, Walmart's new CEO, Douglas McMillon, announced that the company will abandon the minimum wage and pay workers above the federally mandated $7.25. But this is still not enough for Walmart workers to cover their basic needs and provide for their families.

It's time for Walmart to close that gap.
