We demand justice for Christian Griggs
It's been more than 15 months since white pastor Pat Chisenhall brutally killed his son-in-law Christian Griggs — and no charges have been filed. Since his tragic death, Christian's parents, Dolly and Tony Griggs have been working day and night to secure justice, but cronyism and racial bias have prevented the police and Harnett County District Attorney Vernon Stewart from prosecuting Christian's killer.
Now, it is time to turn up the pressure. We need District Attorney Stewart to recuse himself from this case in order for North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper to step in and secure justice for Christian. A few weeks ago, District Attorney Vernon told state officials that he wouldn't recuse himself from this case, but with enough public pressure he could change his mind. Will you call DA Stewart and AG Cooper today and urge them to prosecute Pat Chisenhall immediately?
