Call Dallas County DA Faith Johnson: Charge officer who killed Jordan Edwards
Jordan Edwards was only a young kid leaving a party with his brother and friends when an overzealous police acted cowardly -- shooting and killing him. Balch Springs Police Department just fired Officer Roy Oliver who shot and killed 15-year-old Jordan Edwards with a rifle. But this is not enough. Now Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson must step up to arrest and charge Roy Oliver and use her power and authority hold the entire Balch Springs police department accountable once and for all.
Jordan Edwards and his family deserve justice. Jordan should still be alive, going to school, hanging out with friends, happy with his family. With an ever increasing white supremacist, right-wing agenda set by local and national elected leaders, desperate to control and criminalize Black people -- the attack on our communities is staggering and frightening. It's time to put an end to state-sanctioned violence against our communities. DA Faith Johnson needs to hear from us.
