Tell Rep. Butterfield to stop attacking net neutrality
After taking huge donations from Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon, some members in Congress have launched a last ditch effort to block net neutrality by attacking the FCC’s new net neutrality rules.
Congressman G.K. Butterfield is the first Democrat in Congress to join Republicans and the telecom lobby in attacking the FCC’s new rules. As chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, he’s expected to speak for the interests of Black Americans – instead, he’s doing the opposite, and he’s doing it in our name.
We need to send a strong message to Butterfield, other CBC members, and Democrats in Congress: we won’t tolerate it if you do the telecom industry’s dirty work while claiming to speak for the interests of Black people.
