This election proves that when Black people and other people of color are attacked, all progressives are made vulnerable. But we will not concede. We will not give up the fight to build independent Black political power — the kind of power that shifts from visibility and presence to actual leverage over decision makers.
We cannot give up the fight to take back control of our communities. We must stand together to change the dangerous direction of our country’s policies and political institutions. It is up to us to unite and protect all who are vulnerable in the face of a Trump presidency.
In the following weeks, Color Of Change PAC will host a series of events--both virtually and in-person--aimed at hearing from our members, reflecting on what we must do differently and sharing plans for the best way forward.
