    It has been one year since NYPD Police Officer Daniel Pantaleo and other NYPD officers brutally killed Eric Garner — and no one has been held accountable. In a horrifying video capturing the violence, Garner can be seen screaming out in pain, "I can't breathe. I can't breathe," as he is strangled to death. 

    It has also been 3 years since the NYPD killed 18-year-old Ramarley Graham and the Department of Justice has failed to indict any of the officers involved. These families have waited long enough for the accountability they deserve. Now we must ramp up our calls for justice and ensure our national leaders take action.

    Urge Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the Department of Justice to indict Officer Pantaleo, Officer Richard Haste and all of the other officers responsible for the killing of Eric Garner and Ramarley Graham.

    Dear US Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the Department of Justice,

    It has been one year since NYPD Police Officer Daniel Pantaleo brutally killed Eric Garner. The tragic incident was caught on camera, and yet not one police officer has been held accountable. It has also been more than 3 years since the NYPD killed Ramarley Graham and the Department of Justice has failed to indict any of the officers involved.

    The families of Eric Garner and Ramarley Graham have waited long enough for accountability and justice. And they are not alone. According to FBI statistics, law enforcement kill Black Americans at nearly the same rate as Jim Crow Era lynching. And the vast majority of abusive and discriminatory police are let off the hook. 

    Indeed, delayed justice is denied justice. I urge to take immediate and definitive action to prosecute Officer Daniel Pantaleo and all officers responsible for the brutal killing of Eric Garner.
