Despite what Trump wants us to think, Congress still controls our taxpayer dollars. Tell Congress: Take IMMEDIATE action to block Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund before it’s too late.
Add Your Name To Demand Congress Block Trump's $1.8 BILLION Slush Fund
Donald Trump just negotiated one of the most corrupt deals in modern history, creating a $1.8 BILLION MAGA slush fund that will send our taxpayer dollars straight into the pockets of January 6 insurrectionists, Proud Boys, white supremacists, and other Trump loyalists.
In exchange for dropping a $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS, Trump created a fund controlled by his own appointees to hand out cash payouts to people claiming they were “wronged” by the government. The corruption is staggering, even for Trump. But none of this is new.
As public outcry builds, lawmakers in both parties are raising concerns, and news just broke today that Senate Republicans postponed a vote on another bill amid widespread frustration about this fund. But concern is not enough. Statements are not enough. With outrage growing, even from Republicans, now is the moment to show massive public pressure to force Congress to act to stop this MAGA slush fund before a single dollar is paid out.
Here is the Petition:
For decades, Black communities have seen what happens when politicians weaponize public dollars to reward those attacking civil rights and punish the communities demanding justice. Now Trump wants to hand a staggering amount of our money to his own movement, which was built on racist conspiracy theories, attacks on DEI and voting rights, and open hostility toward Black political power.
While our communities struggle with a growing cost of living crisis, medical debt, and underfunded schools, Trump is using our money to reward the insurrectionists and paramilitary groups who commit violence in his name.
He didn’t stop at the slush fund. The deal also permanently shields Trump, his family, and his businesses from investigation into past taxes.
Meanwhile, organizations fighting racism are being criminalized. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was targeted because of its work exposing the white supremacists Trump has spent years cultivating and protecting. And now Trump will reward those same people handsomely.
We cannot allow this to stand. Congress must exercise its power to immediately block Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund before a single taxpayer dollar is handed over to MAGA extremists and political loyalists.
