To Spotify CEO Daniel Ek:
Spotify: Stop hosting Alex Jones' InfoWars

Alex Jones and his show InfoWars have been responsible for promoting some of the most vile and harmful conspiracy theories and Spotify has been helping them do it.
From asserting that the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School gun massacre was a hoax, President Barack Obama was a member of Al-Qaeda, to driving the Pizzagate conspiracy theory that lead to real world violence when a gunman opened fire in DC pizza shop, to harassing the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting, Alex Jones and InfoWars have shown time and again that they are willing to traffic in white supremacist propaganda and incite violence and harassment.
By allowing Alex Jones and InfoWars to use their platform, Spotify is not only normalizing this type of extremist behavior but is providing it access to a wider audience. Spotify should not be in the business of profiting off of hate mongering and conspiracy theories.
Here is the Petition:
InfoWars and host Alex Jones have perpetuated despicable conspiracy theories including asserting that the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School gun massacre was a hoax, President Barack Obama was a member of Al-Qaeda, pushed the Pizzagate conspiracy theory that lead to real world violence, and are directing harassment at the victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting. InfoWars and Alex Jones are repeat and consistent violators of Spotify's hateful content policy and their accounts should be immediately and permanently removed from the site.
Removing a handful of InfoWars' and Alex Jones' most offensive and harmful podcasts is not enough. They have shown time and again that they are willing to push bigoted propaganda and direct harassment and vulnerable people and will continue to do so. Spotify should take a strong stand against hate, disinformation and harassment by removing InfoWars and Alex Jones from your platform.
