McDonald's, end your sexual harassment culture now!

In the age of #MeToo, we can no longer turn a blind eye to sexual harassment culture and how deep it goes in our society. Low wage workers and restaurant workers are especially vulnerable to harassment and mega corporations like McDonald's have the resources to do better, yet they refuse to invest in safe work cultures.

When hundreds of employees across the country walked out of different McDonald's locations to protest their unacceptable conditions, they made history by being the first national strike to take place focusing on workplace sexual harassment in the country.

    Here is the Petition:

Restaurant and low wage workers are being robbed of their dignity and safety because of a rampant culture of workplace sexual harassment in McDonald's. Earlier this year, 10 McDonald’s employees filed sexual harassment complaints with the US Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in May. Since then, McDonald's has failed to respond with any real commitments to action in order to change their disgusting and harmful culture.

In the absence of real accountability, the workers took action and organized a strike to push McDonald's to commit to having proper procedures for receiving and responding to harassment complaints and mandatory anti-harassment training for managers and employees. This strike made history by being the first of its kind, but they cannot do it alone.

Together, we can also be a part of history by ensuring that McDonald's does the right thing. Join us in this fight by taking action now.
