Below is the letter we will send to Mayor de Blasio & Commissioner Shea:
Demand Justice For Delrawn Small

Here is the Petition:
I'm standing with Communities United for Police Reform and Color of Change to demand justice for Delrawn Small.
It has been over four years since NYPD Officer Wayne Isaacs shot and killed unarmed Delrawn Small in front of his four-month-old baby and teenage daughter. Isaacs rolled down his window and unholstered his gun to shoot Delrawn even though he posed no threat. After shooting Delrawn three times, Isaacs provided no medical attention and when he called 911 he never mentioned that he shot someone or that Delrawn was laying on the street dying. In fact, Isaacs & the NYPD lied about the incident for days until video footage surfaced disputing their account.
The Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) substantiated charges against Isaacs in October 2020 - it's unacceptable that the NYPD still hasn't served those charges to Isaacs. We are calling on you to immediately:
- Serve the CCRB substantiated charges on Isaacs
- Schedule Isaacs' disciplinary trial
- Fire Wayne Isaacs for killing Delrawn Small
For over four years, Delrawn’s family and New Yorkers have demanded Officer Isaacs be fired and held responsible for Delrawn’s killing. Your refusal to fire Isaacs is a slap in the face to Delrawn’s family and to all New Yorkers.
We are calling on you to finally fire Wayne Isaacs – it should not take years for officers who harm and kill New Yorkers to be held accountable.
