LEAKED audio: Brian Kemp ‘concerned’ about Georgians exercising their voting rights

In an audio recording obtained by Rolling StoneGeorgia GOP gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp tells a room full of donors that Stacey Abrams’ voter turnout operation “continues to concern us, especially if everybody uses and exercises their right to vote.

This news comes after Black elders were kicked off of a bus taking them to the polls, and reports surfaced that 70% of the 53,000 Georgia residents blocked from registering to vote were Black.

And the man overseeing Georgia's elections this year, including recent efforts to suppress Black votes, is none other than Brian Kemp.

He serves as Georgia's Secretary State. This means he is both a player and a referee in these elections. Not only does he decide on the rules, but he also benefits from them. It is a clear and overwhelming conflict of interest.

Mr. Kemp is the latest example of a long line of anti-Black politicians who have used intimidation tactics to suppress our vote. What Kemp and his like fail to realize is that these suppression tactics won't stop us. Black communities across the state of Georgia and beyond are energized, motivated, and organized to get out the vote this year.

In these final 7 days, send a strong message to Brian Kemp and the GOP - contribute to Color Of Change PAC today. Over 2,300 people have already donated to our efforts to turn out the Black vote nationwide. Let them know that we won’t be intimidated. That we are not afraid. And that together, we will make history on November 6.
