The internet can be a scary place, but it can be terrifying for Black women. Every day, Black women are harassed, doxxed, threatened, abused, and bullied online. Black women are nearly twice as likely as white women to experience abuse, harassment, and racial slurs online.
Black women deserve our love, not our hate.
That’s why Color Of Change is investing in research to track increased misogynoir online. We will use the knowledge we gain to pressure these powerful platforms to take real action to protect Black women and girls in the online world. But this will be a lot of work, and we can’t do this without you.
This is personal for us. Color Of Change is largely powered by the work and passion of Black women from all walks of life. We know what it’s like to be harassed and abused online, and we’re committed to eradicating misogynoir from virtual life for good. Join us now to help win this fight.
