There is a humanitarian crisis at the border, and Black people are being disproportionately impacted.
Haitian asylum seekers who have for months been fleeing toward what they thought was safety are being terrorized, abused, and then deported. Others are being sent to Guantanamo Bay, or back to Mexico where they are targets of organized crime because of the color of their skin.
Color of Change is powering campaigns to protect Black migrants, put an end to abuse at the border and in detention centers, demand a more humanitarian approach to immigration, and ensure asylum for Black migrants. But we can’t win without your support.
Seeking asylum is a legal and human right, fundamental to maintaining democracy. It must extend to Black people.
Chip in and power our campaigns to protect Black migrants today.
