State's Attorney Mosby: keep pushing for justice

A judge just declared a mistrial in the trial of William Porter – one of the police responsible for Freddie Gray's death in Baltimore.

We need to step up the pressure for justice. Unless we speak up now, there will be critiques about trial strategy and tons of pressure on Mosby from police unions to no longer pursue justice for Freddie’s death. Let’s keep the pressure on so that State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby knows she has our support in continuing to fight for justice for Freddie.

Join us in urging State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby to retry William Porter, and continue her prosecution of the other officers responsible for Freddie Gray's death.

Below is the letter we'll send to Baltimore State's Attorney Mosby on your behalf. You can add a personal comment using the space provided.

    Dear State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby,

I am writing to urge you to keep pursuing justice and accountability for the killing of Freddie Gray. I'm calling on you to try Officer William Porter again, and to push forward with your prosecution of the other five officers involved in Gray's death.

Your decision to pursue criminal charges against the officers who killed Freddie Gray was a rare moment of police accountability in the midst of rampant police violence against Black women and men. I want to thank you and encourage you to keep pushing for justice.

    Sincerely,

    [Your name]
