Fire Fox News CEO Roger Ailes!
After the massacre of nine Black people praying inside a South Carolina church on Wednesday night, FOX News used that moment to spew a message of white supremacy and indifference to Black suffering. The refusal on the part of the network’s anchors and guests to call this horrific crime what it clearly is -- a racist hate crime -- was absolutely stunning, and just the latest promotion of racial intolerance and hatred of Black Americans under Roger Ailes’ FOX News.
It is absolutely time for a change. As long as Fox News remains under the direction of Roger Ailes, FOX will continue to ignore the blatant racism and oppression we face and will continue to contribute to the right-wing extremism that has made Black communities throughout the country targets of violence.
Demand that incoming CEO James Murdoch fire Roger Ailes from his position as head of FOX News, and install a someone capable of turning FOX News into a reputable news network.
